Asset libraries
Organize approved characters, scenes, props, voices, images and videos for reuse. Shared libraries reduce repeated setup and help teams maintain consistent visuals and sound.
Library scope
Personal libraries hold your reusable material; team libraries make shared assets available according to permissions. Project material libraries collect production-specific content. Follow the categories visible in your current studio.
September 2026 updates added video and audio libraries and the ability to reference those assets in shots. Character asset management has also been consolidated, so older screenshots may use different category names.
Add material
- Open the appropriate personal or team library.
- Upload material or save an existing generation.
- Name and organize it by character, outfit, location or language.
- Open it to verify clarity, playback and content before using it in a project.
Saving a Canvas node usually stores the current result rather than its entire history. Save and name valuable historical candidates separately.
Folders and batch import
ZIP folder import, directory organization and batch transfers between folders are supported. Prepare consistent names first to reduce duplicates. For batch matching to project assets, use names that match the intended assets and inspect the proposed mapping before submission.
Examples: Lin_Main_Front, Lin_Gala_Outfit, Bookshop_Night_Counter, Lin_EN_Voice. Avoid long-term names such as “Image1” or “NewVersion.”
Search and reference
Search by name or available filters. Multimodal search helps locate relevant material in a large library, but inspect the actual file before use. Add it to the project or shot, insert it through @, and explain its role.
Before sharing
Check that members can access the library, that assets are approved versions, and that identities and voices are clear. Keep personal experiments separate. Passing an asset review does not establish every external usage right; teams should confirm the permitted use of people, voices and content.
Remove duplicates carefully after checking active references. Preserve source-project, character and version information when production traceability matters.
Visibility in personal, team and project storage
| Location | Documented visibility | Common actions |
|---|---|---|
| Personal assets | Private to the owner | Upload, rename, delete, share to a team and select in projects |
| Team assets | Shared with all members of that team | Upload, organize folders and reference in team projects |
| Project materials | Frames and Director materials for the project | Select and mention in related shots |
To make a personal asset available to colleagues, choose Share to team, confirm the destination and then have members select it. Uploading to a personal library does not make it visible to the team.
ZIP uploads and folder management
Upload by file picker, drag-and-drop or paste; multiple images can be selected together. ZIP contents are organized in a folder with the same name. Arrange project, character and outfit names before importing. Assets can be copied or moved between folders within the same team.
Batch-match project assets
- Upload characters, scenes and props into the corresponding library categories.
- Use matching character, outfit, scene and prop names in the script and assets.
- In project setup, choose Batch match (批量匹配) at the upper-right.
- Select the project's asset folder and run matching.
- Inspect every result, especially names shared by different outfits. Configure unmatched assets manually before shot generation.
Real-person portraits and virtual characters
Virtual portrait management has been consolidated into the team character library, with review of generated and uploaded assets. The real-person portrait library is for naturally existing people, not an alternative upload route for fictional characters.
Create a dedicated portrait group. The depicted person completes liveness verification and face compliance checks before multiple images of that person are uploaded to the group. Verified portraits can be selected by teams under the primary account and used as character images in project setup. Confirm the person's authorization and identity; verification does not confer permission for every external use.
