Remaster shots and compare
After correcting assets and approving voices, analyze episodes into shots. Use the original as a reference, while reviewing each new prompt, asset mapping and generated result.
Select episodes and duration
Choose the episodes to analyze. Seedance 2.5 offers 15, 20 or 30 seconds as the planned shot cap. Plans using 20 or 30 seconds do not apply directly to Seedance 2.0; adjust the model or splitting approach first.
Reanalysis replaces existing work
Reanalyzing an episode removes its existing prompts and videos. Save required text, download approved clips and verify the affected episode range before proceeding.
Correct shot prompts
Use the shot and asset panels on the left. Select a name or use @ to insert a reference; associate missing assets first. Switch shots through the thumbnail strip. Check mappings among source characters, dialogue, positions and new references.
The original-video preview can locate the current shot on the source timeline. Compare action, framing and dialogue before batch generation.
Create references from source keyframes
| Mode | Result | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| Sketch | A line drawing with character relationships | Quickly preserve blocking and composition without source appearances |
| Render | A redrawn frame using replacement characters and locations | A concrete preview of the new version; slower to process |
After adding the reference frame, specify: Use @Image1 for blocking, composition and depth of field; use each character asset for identity. For sketches, restore important props, light and emotion through text and exclude the sketch rendering style.
Generate and compare
Test a representative shot for identity, lip sync, language and style. Then batch-generate the reviewed remainder. Comparison mode displays original and new footage side by side with synchronized playback.
Localization acceptance
No missing story information; accurate relationships; natural target-language dialogue without source-language residue; acceptable lip sync; retained key actions and props; suitable names, clothing and locations; coherent episode pacing. Then export the approved version.
Turn an original frame into an active reference
- Open Original video frames (原视频帧) in the current shot preview.
- Select one or more intelligently extracted keyframes that show the important blocking and depth.
- Sketch mode produces line art with character-name mapping. Render mode substitutes the new characters and setting. Do not let an original actor's appearance override the new identity.
- Check the result and click Add as reference frame (添加为参考帧).
- Insert its actual
@mention, assigning blocking, composition and depth to that image while character assets define identity. - Enlarge and inspect it, test one shot, then repeat the verified method in batch.
