Workspace and projects
A project groups scripts, assets, shots and generated results. Check the active team and project before starting so that assets are associated with the intended workspace.
Creation modes
| Mode | Best for | Starting point |
|---|---|---|
| Agent | A script that needs asset extraction and shot planning | Upload and analyze the script |
| Manual | An existing shot plan or direct creative control | Add characters, locations, props and shots yourself |
| Canvas | Free-form visual planning with connected nodes | Create a blank canvas |
| Remaster | Replacing appearances, style or language in an existing production | Upload source episodes or remaster an existing project |
Find and manage a project
- Search the project list by name.
- Filter by available fields such as creation date or creator. Verify the team before opening a result.
- Rename a project through its menu. Include the production, language or working version in its name.
- Before deleting, export the footage and assets you need. Deletion does not create an editable backup for you.
For example, use MidnightLetter_EN_Season1_Working instead of relying on many projects named “Final.”
Understand the workflow
Script defines the story. Settings defines characters, locations, props and voices. Storyboards controls individual video segments. Preview supports episode review and export. After changing an upstream asset, inspect existing shot references and results: updating an asset does not mean all previously generated videos are regenerated automatically.
Project, team and personal assets
Project assets belong to the current production. Personal libraries support reuse across projects, while team libraries support shared work. Reference assets and generated shot results are different objects. When saving a result to a library, check whether you are saving the current selection or a historical candidate.
Missing entries
Check your account, active team, role. Canvas and 3D Director are enabled by default. Models follow the options visible in your studio. Ask an administrator to investigate permission errors instead of repeatedly creating projects.
