Start a remaster project
Remaster analyzes an existing production's story, characters, locations and shots, then generates a new version using replacement assets, language and visual treatment. Use it for localization, language editions or style adaptation.
Prepare source episodes
Supported formats are MP4 and MOV, up to 200 MB per file and 5 minutes per episode. Select an entire folder or individual files. Use clear numeric names such as 01.mp4 and 02.mp4, then verify the displayed order.
For evaluation, start with 3–5 episodes. For a full production, prepare all required episodes before analysis: you cannot append episodes after source analysis. Do not assume the remaining season can be uploaded later into an already analyzed project.
Create and upload
- Create a remaster project in the studio.
- Upload all required episodes and verify count, order and status.
- Choose target language, aspect ratio, style and model.
- Wait for every upload to finish before proceeding to Settings and source analysis.
- Review extracted original characters, locations and their replacement mappings.
Source analysis is different from storyboard reanalysis
The upload stage can replace uploaded source files through the interface. After source analysis, you cannot restart that source-analysis pass or append episodes. Later storyboard analysis can be repeated for selected episodes, but it overwrites related prompts and videos; see Remaster shots.

Older introductions may list different languages. Use the target choices offered by the current model selector. Regional accents, names, clothes and locations still need review; localization is more than literal dialogue translation.
Remaster an existing project
Start another language version from an existing drama or remaster project. After selecting the language, the system migrates assets and adapts existing shot prompts and dialogue. Review character design, accents, wording, locations and generation settings afterward.
Recommended order
Prepare → upload and analyze → replace and correct assets → configure voices → analyze and generate shots → compare original and new footage → export.
Source quality and analysis expectations
The guide reports stronger results with Chinese source dialogue. Complete story context helps identify relationships. A test project may use 3–5 episodes, but limited context can reduce recognition accuracy; prepare all required episodes together for production.
Analysis does not guarantee correct characters, scenes or dialogue ownership. Correct names, outfits, settings and speakers before generation. If speech is too fast, try increasing generation duration and review the new result.
